Prior to architectural lighting, I studied and worked as a lighting designer for theater and dance for a number of years. One of the side benefits was the opportunity to take production photographs of my work, but I haven’t had that same chance in a long time. This year during the lockdowns, a friend was willing to throw on some pointe shoes during her downtime as a refresher for both of us.
