Pandemic Hair

A series of little doodles documenting various hairstyles I had during the pandemic. In a time where “going out” became less frequent, it became easy to fall into a monotony when it came to personal style. So these little, previously inconsequential, moments where that monotony was broken became more memorable.

I started these doodles as a form of relaxation - they are fairly mindless, difficult to “mess up” and fun to do. I looked at various reference photos (or sometimes in the mirror) to replicate some of these hairstyles, and found that capturing little imperfections like stray hairs, tangles, and dry ends brought the doodles to life. I hope you enjoy them!
