A trip to Joshua Tree National State Park on the heels of a somber occasion this past spring was spiritual awakening. A landscape like no other, massive rock piles seemingly placed, dried-up river beds. The Mojave. The Colorado Desserts. Pinyon Pines. Juniper Trees. Ocotillo Patches. The Cholla Cactus Garden. A site so unfamiliar, and the gradual change in terrain going from East to West. In awe and amazement. The curiosity of a child emerged in all of us. A place so surreal, so magical, it's a place to find faith and hope.
